50 candidates in Royal College of Emergency Medicine exam incorrectly told they had passed

Fifty candidates who sat a Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) exam in March were incorrectly told that they had passed.
Trainee representatives said the exams have been plagued by similar errors for years and trust in the exams system “has been completely destroyed.”
The college said a fault with the examination system affected the results of the March 2022 Fellowship of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine SBA examinations. The exam forms part of the programme of assessment for emergency medicine training which typically takes seven years to complete.
